Tracy Perkins
Managing Director

Tracy Perkins is the Managing Director of Pierce Artist and has been piercing professionally for 11 years. During that period Tracy has gained a reputation amongst her peers as being one of the most knowledgeable piercing consultants in Europe. Tracy has been teaching advanced body piercing for 8 years and is a member of the United Kingdom Register of Learning Providers. As a renowned body piercing Instrument designer, Tracy's piercing tools are sold internationally and are widely regarded as the Rolls Royce of modern piercing instruments. A regular exhibitor at the country's leading piercing and Tattoo shows, this year Tracy has been invited to provide services as the the sole body piercer at Erotica, Europe's largest adult lifestyle event at London's Kensington Olympia.

Having managed a highly successful piercing business in the South West of England for the last six years, Tracy has now relocated to the North West and is now devoting time to overseeing the franchise operation of Pierce Artist and teaching others through Pierce Artist Training Services.

DR Christopher Blatchley
Medical Director

Dr Chris Blatchley MB BChir is our Medical Director in charge of ensuring that all medical aspects of Pierce Artist are kept at the highest standards. Chris qualified from Cambridge University in 1979 and now runs Capital Aesthetics, his successful aesthetic medicine clinic in London offering Botox, dermal fillers and other treatments.. He is also an eye specialist, and previously set up the medical charity Health Unlimited which is involved in taking medical and healthcare support to the people who are living in countries in conflict so that they are not getting the international aid that they would otherwise receive in times of peace. Chris joins our team to work in expanding the Training division and will also be helping in setting up the franchising of Pierce Artist to piercers who have completed the Pierce Artist training courses and have been successful in passing the rigorous selection procedures.

Kate Simmans
Senior Training officer

Kate has been Interested in Body Piercing and Tattoo's for many years. Having trained with Tracy went on to work for a successful and busy Tattoo Studio in Northern Ireland. After returning to Manchester in 2008 joined Pierce Artist as an employee. With over 12 years Professional working experience and over 3 years Professional Body Piercing experience and training, she has also worked in Sales, Marketing and Management. Kate has also worked throughout UK and worked and resided in Australia for over 2 years. Kate's role within Pierce Artist is to offer the highest standard training expected under the guidance and support of Tracy. She is also there to offer support and advise to students not only during the course and beyond completion.

Valerie Herrick
Health and Safety Officer

Valerie Herrick is Health and Safety Officer and qualified nurse. Valerie has over 22 years of medical experience in senior hospital management role. Val's role within Pierce Artist is to deliver the Health and Safety module, advising students about the most relevant factors that affect and govern the body piercing industry. With an in depth knowledge and understanding of the risks associated with body piercing Valerie advises students on standards expected when managing or working in piercing studio environment.

Rebecca Simmonds
Associate Senior Piercer

Piercer Rebecca trained with Tracy Perkins straight from school, she has been guest piercing and piercing for Tracy and Pierce Artist for 8 years. She is also a qualified Hairdresser and has studied for NVQ's in Customer Care.

Chris Ames
Web Developer and Online marketing Strategist

Chris has not one piercing and is afraid of needles but unlike most people is not afraid of computers and harnessing the power of the internet to our advantage.
