The ‘Quick Pierce™’ 3 day starter course

At Pierce Artist we pride ourselves in listening to our students and hearing what is being said in the marketplace in general. We were asked to provide an entry level course which gives students practical piercing on popular placements with our trademark quality instruction and information on the industry at large. As such, we have put together a short course which is aimed at the novice to body piercing.

We have combined 1 to 1 tuition, classroom style teaching, live piercing, interactive training material and methods with homework to bring you this exciting and intensive course. As with all of our training packages, we focus our attention on quality information and teaching, ensuring you leave us confident in body piercing.

The course itself is focused on providing a solid grounding in body piercing and is perfectly suited to individuals interested in piercing out of a beauty salon / hairdressers / nail salon or small enterprise.

During the three day course we will cover:

Health & Safety – Covering the essential information of how to keep you and your  client safe.

Body piercing laws – The things you need to know to pierce legally in the UK.

Demonstrations by a senior piercer on live models with commentary & Q&A

Focused training with simulated piercing techniques

Client focus– how to work with the client to get a great result, how to put them at their ease and how to spot potential problems.

Practical piercing in the most popular placements on LIVE models.

Troubleshooting – Overcoming general issues, healing & aftercare advice.

Plus much more

Day 1:

Health & Safety essentials followed by a multiple choice quiz

Practical piercing

Homework

Day 2

Recap on day 1 plus a multiple choice quiz

Piercing training with live demonstrations

Homework

Day 3

Recap on day 1 & 2 plus a multiple choice quiz

Practical piercing

Final multiple choice quiz and certification award

On course completion you will be presented with a certificate to show you have concluded the starter course to merit, intermediate or distinction level. A full colour portfolio of all of the piercings you have undertaken, plus a disc containing all of the course material covered on your course.
