The Core Body Piercing Course is our most popular training option for people wishing to pursue a career in body piercing. The course provides both theoretical information and practical experience in the popular art of advanced blade needle piercing technique. This course has proved extremely popular with beginners to the body piercing industry but is still comprehensive enough to satisfy the needs of those with more experience.

Advanced blade needle piercing is a quicker and more precise method of piercing, combine this with Pierce Artists precision piercing specific tools it will induces quicker healing times giving your clients a better result helping you establish and maintain an excellent reputation.

On completion of the course you will be a competent and confident body piercer with the experience and skills to work independently as a professional body piercer either in your own studio or as an employee.

Day 1:

Health & Safety and Body Piercing Laws.

This module is delivered by our in house Medical Officer, with over 22 years of medical experience in senior hospital management. The aim of the module is to deliver in-depth information about the most relevant factors that affect and govern the body piercing industry. Throughout the module there will be practical exercises and demonstrations. Topics covered include a medical overview relevant to body piercing in your studio, health and safety, record keeping, sterilisation, body piercing law and healing & after care advice.

Day 2:

Navel & Tongue Piercing Module.

This module is broken into two parts; the first is devoted to learning the placement of the piercings, the jewellery selection, tools skills and the various piercing techniques, with the second being given over to practical body piercing. 

Day 3:

Nipple & Face Piercing Module.

This module is broken into two parts; the first is devoted to learning the placement of the piercings, the jewellery selection, tools skills and the various piercing techniques, with the second being given over to practical body piercing. You will build on your first days piercing experience adding new skills and techniques. 

Day 4:

Nose & Ear Piercing Module.

Again this module is broken into two parts; the first is devoted to learning the placement of the piercings, the jewellery selection, tools skills and the various piercing techniques, with the second being given over to practical body piercing. This module is very challenging because you will be working with smaller jewellery with less space to work in. 

Day 5 & 6:

Surface Piercing & Microdermal Module.

During the module you will be shown the best jewellery for the piercing, how to mark accurately and execute surface piercings. Surfacing piercing is an exact art and if done incorrectly, the jewellery can migrate out of thebody and potentially leave the client with an unsightly scar. The advanced blade needle method that we use gives excellent results with a minimum or no swelling, bleeding, or redness. We will show you the way to pierce parts of the body that many experience piercers believe cannot be pierced.

Mircodermals have become extremely popular in the last few years but they require a high level of skill to be successful. The microdermal section of the module will teach you the required techniques to achieve accurate and safe insertion of the jewellery. We will do this by taught about the different jewellery used, potential problems and how to overcome them. We will show and explain why the blade needle method is the safest and most ethically sound way of piercing.
