The Pierce Artist advanced body piercing training service is open to existing body piercers only. It is designed to give additional training in the more complex areas of body piercing. The most popular option is a one day genital piercing course that covers all areas of both male and female genital piercing. We also offer a specialist surface piercing and micro-dermal day that covers all body parts that are safe and practical to pierce.

Each module is available to be undertaken at your studio and you must provide the models for the practical  body piercing.  The modules are also available at  the Pierce Artist Training Centre whereby we provide the models. We are also able to give training in any areas where there is a gap in your knowledge base or practical skills. This training is available by the day.

Surface Piercing Module.

The surface piercing and micro-dermal module is taken over two days and is taken at the Pierce Artist Training centre Manchester. The two days cover both small, medium and large gauge piercing tecniques. You will be shown the best jewellery for the piercings, how to mark accurately and execute surface piercings that are very unlikely to migrate. You will get practical experience on live models both for surface piercings and micro-dermal anchors.

Pierce Artist offer the most up to date training in surface piercing. The advanced blade needle methods that we use give a finished result that doesn’t swell, bleed go red or cause any of the problems usually associated with surface piercing. We will show you the way to pierce parts of the body that many piercers believe cannot be pierced because they will reject. Pierce Artist will provide a minimum of 15 piercings on live models.

Genital Piercing Module.

When undertaking this module, you will be taught the names and positioning of the varied male and female genital piercings. You will learn about placement, suitable jewellery, tools, techniques and after-care used in the execution of these piercings.

You will be expected to provide models for the practical training if undertaken at your premises. Our experience has shown that over the last few years that genital piercing has become very popular in a wide cross section of age groups. We will provide live models for the practical side of the training and tuition will be given by Tracy Perkins who has unparalleled experience in this field.

Blade Needle Conversion Module.

At Pierce Artist we believe that blade needle piercing is the safest, kindest method of body piercing. Blade needle piercing is the more prominent in the USA and is widely accepted as a method of piercing that invokes fast healing times, very few infections, and very little discomfort to the person being pierced. Though the majority of UK body piercers use canular methods, blade needle piercing is bcoming increasingly popular. our 11 years of experience have shown the benefits of blade needle piercing to be tangible. All Pierce Artist tools and accessories have been designed for use with blade needles.

This one day course is offered to existing piercers wishing to switch from canular to blade needle piercing. It is widely recognised that blade needle piercing causes less distress to the human body than canular needles. A one day conversion course can change the way you pierce forever. Live models will be brought in for all practical elements of the training. Instruction in the most up to date and innovative tools on the market today is included.
